Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin, an American mental health activist and comedy podcaster and writer on YouTube is a journalist. Her prior job was an editor at BuzzFeed Video. She left the firm in 2015 and launched her own comedian YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn who is a writer with whom she collaborates. Raskin, born in Manhattan 20 June 1989 to a Jewish parent and a father, was raised by her parents. She graduated from The University of Southern California with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a American attorney law professor and politician who has been representative for the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of the year 2017. A law professor served as the principal prosecutor in the second impeachment hearing of President Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin has chosen not to seek Maryland's vacant Senate seat and instead will be seeking reelection in the House where he hopes to become the chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
